Sofia Ianovskaia
Sofia Ianovskaiais a professional Reflexologist and Certified Ayurveda Wellness Counselor with a passion for helping people discover their own path to radiant health. Sofia is also a certified, California licensed and insured massage therapist.
A natural born healer, Sofia grew up in a healing household in St. Petersburg, Russia and was deeply inspired to care for people by her mother, a medical doctor.
She continued following her natural call to healing and became certified in massage therapy and also became a certified Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor by the esteemed Kerala Ayurveda Academy. Fate then led her to a chance encounter with Vaidya Rama Kant Mishra, a world-renowned Ayurvedic doctor who took her under his wing as a special intern in his office. There she sat side by side with Vaidya and learned the intricacies of Ayurveda and how to look at the whole person in order to help treat their conditions. She learned the importance of proper diet, exercise and cultivating good habits for healing and optimum health.
Her hunger for diving deeper into healing philosophy lead her to her ultimate destiny, Reflexology. Once Sofia discovered the deep healing power of Reflexology, she knew that this was a path she had to continue on. She became certified by the American Academy of Reflexology in Advanced Hand, Foot, Face and Scalp Reflexology and has since helped numerous people restore their health and bring relief from cervical and spinal pain, sciatica, headaches, digestive issues, infertility, and more. Sofia is an expert in reading clients’ feet and ears in order to develop a specific roadmap on their journey to healthier living, and nothing brings her more pleasure than meeting new clients who share her energy and enthusiasm for healthy living. Her success with clients has been staggering and has made her one of the most sought-after Reflexologists in Los Angeles, CA.
When she is not in the office with clients, Sofia enjoys reading and rollerblading in Santa Monica with her husband. She also shares her passion and knowledge by leading workshops and giving lectures throughout Los Angeles, including private events, on Reflexology and Ayurveda.
Sofia’s expertise spans from her private practice at Whole Foods Tarzana Relaxation Station (2013-2019) to outcalls, corporate engagements, and transformative workshops. In 2024, Sofia joined Dr. Bradley Nelson’s team at Discover Healing, where she continues to work as a Student Advisor and Translator. In this role, she supports students throughout their certification journey and helps them navigate their learning and training. She also works as a translator for video subtitles, helping make Dr. Nelson’s teachings accessible to a broader audience.
Sofia also teaches Ear Reflexology and Ear Seeds courses online, sharing her years of practical experience with students around the world. Her courses combine Reflexology, wellness, beauty, self-care, and practical techniques that students can incorporate into their own lives and professional practices.
Today, Sofia’s work brings together her many years of experience in Reflexology, Ayurveda, energy work, education, and holistic wellness — with a focus on helping people learn, grow, and discover new possibilities for their own well-being.
